Find Your VoiceEach week, Shine.FM reaches thousands of people in Chicagoland, Northwest Indiana, and in over 70 countries worldwide via internet streaming. Every month, Shine.FM is live at concerts, festivals, and community events. Shine.FM couldn't function without audio producers, graphic designers, marketing assistants, and content writers for live shifts. The majority of these tasks are completed each week by student workers enrolled at Olivet Nazarene University. This experience leads our alumni into everything from record labels to music video programming to world evangelism through radio broadcasting. If media is your passion, we'd love to talk to you more about joining the team here at Shine.FM and enrolling in classes at Olivet Nazarene University. Check out the stories of those involved with Shine.FM, and learn more about the station and the learning environment you'll be entering into. Shine.FM and Olivet Nazarene University. Find Your Voice.

Hey there Shine.fm where's
Hey there Shine.fm where's the beef? Oops I mean where's the Christmas music?????? A bunch of my friends in the area are all wondering what happened to the holiday spirit on 89.7? We were waiting for the day after Thanksgiving and bummer no Christmas music! We decided to extend grace to you and wait until December 1st and then OUCH no Christmas music!!!! We all have our opinions of what's happened and we need you to straighten it out for us:
A) The Christmas CDs got lost at Johnny's house when he took them home last January 1 to enjoy all year
B) The Olivet glee club swiped the CDs to use for touring?
C) The station manager decided just to sprinkle a few Christmas songs in here and there to try and appease the teenagers with the hip stuff they're used to hearing on Shine - boo (sorry)
Give us the scoop - Merry Christmas!
Moms, Dads, teenagers, youngsters, college students, homemakers, (all these apply to our group!)
hey, guys...did you know
hey, guys...did you know there are thousands of renditions of the same song out there? you don't have to play the same artists daily at the same time. The last few years you had a great play list, but, I may have to defer to Satellite, if you have a shortage of music try taping the 3 Sirius stations that are playing Christmas music, the variety is incredible and they have a great selection of artists and songs to listen to...please, don't repeat so much...I love Christmas music, but, you are tiring the songs out.

Tuned into Shine Radio about 8:00 a.m. today and you had someone who was speech impaired singing "Amazing Grace" and you were all making fun of him and his singing. I thought that was shameful and crude of you.
